Community Resources

Find state and community resources to help you with food, shelter, and other needs.

At the core of AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania's success is our mission. In addition to providing access to quality health care for our members, AmeriHealth Caritas partners with the communities we serve. Through participation in neighborhood functions and community outreach events, AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania makes a difference in the areas where our members live. We lend our support and work with groups who address social issues that affect health care, such as homelessness, domestic violence, unemployment, and education.

Our community programs include:

  • Work supports program
Resources to help you find employment are available to support you with your training and career goals.
Tools For Tomorrow workshops to help with resume writing, interviewing, and the job search process are available virtually and at our Wellness and Opportunity Centers.
  • Community health programs
AmeriHealth Caritas Pennsylvania works closely with community leaders and organizations to develop programs to promote the health of our members and our communities.

We can't do it alone. The Health Education Advisory Committee, also known as HEAC, is a health education and outreach committee that we work with to develop and implement programs that improve health outcomes for disadvantaged families throughout the Lehigh/Capital service area.
